Mandela Debate 2016

Nelson Mandela Global Development Intervarsity Development Debate 2016 took place on Friday 8th April, 2016 at Trinity College Dublin. Sponsor wholeheartedly with Concern World Wide, Ireland, the final brought together four colleges, Dublin City University, University College Cork, Dublin Institute of Technology and Trinity College Dublin. The winning team was Dublin City University.

Debate four motions: The current generation of students are not revolutionary, it is impossible to get ride off corruption in our societies, there is no excuse with development of technology so far, for rampant poverty, hunger and diseases in the world.

The judging panel was constitute with leaders from USI, Concern worldwide, Trócaire, SARI, Google and Sickle Cell Ireland and Youth Platform Ireland.
